Committees

The board of the European Karate Organization EKO is supported in its activities by committees. These consist of highly qualified karateka, that are considered to be most knowledgeable in their areas of expertise. They are appointed by the board.

Each committee has a EKO board member as Chairman. He informs the Committee Coordinator (CC) of activities, reports periodically to the EKO board and to the General Assembly.

The Committee Coordinator keeps track of all the activities and initiatives of the different committees, supervises and coordinates them. As such, he has an overview and is the direct link between the EKO Board and the assembled committees.

Committees strive to have regular updates on their activities in the form of Newsletters, that are sent to all member countries and national organizations.
