3. KUMITE category 'semi contact' girls and boys.

All participants fight in protective helmets provided by the Organizer.
All participants should possess their own soft cotton guards (protecting shins, feet and hands of the participant). These all should be white.
Boys should equip protective cups and girls chest protectors.
All participants have to control the power of their kicks.
Kumite semi contact 'junior' 1997-1995 (underaged)
boys: - 55 kg, - 65 kg, - 75 kg, + 75 kg
girls: - 50 kg, - 60 kg, + 60 kg.
It is the duty of the participant to report to the fight within 1 min of regular time period wearing a complete set of white cotton guards, including a cup or a chest protector (depending on the gender of the participant).
Each fight takes 1.5 min. Any extra time takes 1 min. "Junior" semi-finals and finals 2 take min.
If no winners are determined during the extra time, the outcome of the fight is determined by the difference in weight of the participants (min 5 kg).

4. KUMITE category senior (at least 2 years of training)

All participants should possess their own soft cotton guards (protecting shins, feet and hands of the participant). These all should be white.
Men should equip protective cups and women chest protectors.
Kumite full contact (at least 18 years old)
men:-65 kg, - 70 kg, -75 kg, - 80 kg, -90, +90 kg
women: - 55 kg, -65 kg, + 65 kg
It is the duty of the participant to report to the fight within 1 min of regular time period wearing a complete set of white cotton guards, including a cup or a chest protector (depending on the gender of the participant).
Each fight takes 2 min. Any extra time takes additional 2 min.

5. KUMITE category OLDBOY +35

All participants should possess their own soft cotton guards (protecting shins, feet and hands of the participant). These all should be white.
Kumite full contact (at least 35 years old)
Men: - 80 kg, +80 kg.
It is the duty of the participant to report to the fight within 1 min of regular time period wearing a complete set of white cotton guards, including a cup or a chest protector (depending on the gender of the participant).
Each fight takes 2 min. Any extra time takes additional 3 min. Semi-finals and finals take 3 min.
If no winners are determined during the extra time, the outcome of the fight is determined by the difference in weight of the participants (min 5 kg).

6. General conditions of participation in the tournament.

The tournament is governed by the WKO rules.
Each karate organization can participate. The only condition is that there are no more that 2 fighters submitted for each of the weight categories by one national team.  
NOTE: In case of too few fighters in a given weight category, the organizer may merge two weight categories together. Such a decision will be made after the analysis of all submitted applications.
Therefore, it is imperative to write down the accurate weight of the fighter submitted, in all age categories!  
The entry fee is 60 PLN (meal included). Fee has to be paid in cash on the tournament day.
For the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in all categories participants receive a cup and a diploma. There will also be prize items.
There is no fight for the third place. The registration of participants can place no later than up to 07 January 2013 (Monday), 12 p.m.
The draw will take place on Wednesday 09 January 2013 on the basis of the submission forms.
Before the start of the tournament applications and the weight of the players will be verified
PARTICIPANTS NOT REPORTING ON TIME DO NOT TAKE PART IN THE TOURNAMENT.
PARTICIPANTS, WHOSE WEIGHT DOES NOT MATCH THE ONE WHICH WAS SUBMITTED WILL NOT TAKE PART IN THE TOURNAMENT AS WELL
In order to be accepted into the tournament, all potential participants need to possess:
- a valid health card signed of by a sports doctor,
- clean white karate kimono
- white cotton shin guard, together with feet protection (semi-contact, women and oldboys), white cotton hand guards (semi-contact) and protective cups for men/boys (all categories) and chest protection in case of women/girls (all categories).
- underaged – written consent of parents or other legal guardians for participation in the tournament (see the attached form)
- a valid proof of age such as school ID or other document, together with a photo and a detailed date of birth
- seniors need to be at least 18 years old, while oldboys at least 35
- health insurance (covering unexpected accidents)

The Organizer does not provide accommodation

The main referee of the Tournament is shihan Remigiusz Karpiński, 5th Dan.

The manager of a given team is obliged to refereeing and should possess a complete referee uniform in accordance with his/her karate organisation. The referee teams will be appointed on the day of the Tournament.
All fights will take place on two sports mats.
In case of any issues which have not been mentioned in the hereby regulations the final decision shall be made by both the Organizer, as well as the Main Referee.
Scoring will be conducted on the basis of the results of individual teams:
1st - 5 points, 2nd - 3 points, 3rd - 1 point.
